Introduction

For this page I have included work from Instrumental Instruction where I have demonstrated basic teaching skills and health & safety standards, skills which will help enable me to produce content with collaborators to the best of my ability in a professional setting. 

Presentation

I have included my Instrumental Instruction presentation as it shows that I am knowledgable of industry standard health and safety measures, which I had researched and followed in my Creative Project  (as seen in my Project Proposal's Risk Assessment). This was important as it allowed me to create a safe environment for myself and others when working in the studio. This will allow me to create a safe and comfortable environment when collaborating with others in work spaces during the production of an EP 

Lesson Plans

I have included my lesson plans as it shows that I am capable of planning my time efficiently when working with others and that I can use feedback in order to improve my work, as I had received student feedback which I had used in order for me to improve the lessons for my student each week

Lesson Videos

I have included my footage from my lessons to show that I am capable of applying techniques and skills that I have learned through research, in practice . This is important as I will have to do the same in terms of compositional and studio/mixing techniques when creating a funded EP.

Lesson Evaluations

My evaluations are important as it shows my ability to reflect on previous work in order to improve my skills for any future work that I may undertake. It also shows that I am capable of taking feedback from others in order to improve my work. These skills are particularly important in order to take any criticism that I may receive for music and use it positively in order to create a successful EP.

Conclusion

Overall Instrumental Instruction has allowed me to demonstrate my ability to communicate musical ideas clearly via my instrument and by written or oral communication, and that I can collaborate with musicians of different abilities.  It also allowed me to demonstrate my ability to plan and prepare my time effectively in advance and that I can work to the best of my ability whilst under time limits as I had done so in my actual lessons.

I also showed my ability to adapt and overcome any challenges I may of faced as I had to divert from my plan a couple of times in my lessons depending on how my student interacted with different content. But most importantly it demonstrates that I am capable of applying new skills into practice quickly, that I learned via research or from others.
