Introduction
I have included my LPS work within my Grade Unit as it shows my ability to plan in terms of practical work e.g. as seen in my stage plan which would have been used for an end of year concert. The work such as the videos with added instruction shows my ability to communicate well in terms of practical work as this is used in a band setting where I can easily communicate sections with my band members and help us guide and signal each other when practicing.
Stage Plan
I have included my stage plan for Story Valley as it shows that I am able to communicate intricate details in preparation for a performance. This is required for working with professionals especially Stage Techs and Audio Engineers that I may collaborate with on an EP
Story Valley
This concert demonstrates my ability to perform different technical abilities on my instrument and that I can perform compositions by collaborating effectively with other instrumentalists. These skills are important for working on an EP, as I may be required to work with different types of instrumentalists of different abilities and skillsets in order to produce content
Big Band
I have included my Big Band performance as it demonstrates my ability to create professional musical arrangements, as the guitar part I had recorded was arranged by me from basic sheet music with chord names, which I arranged in order to complement my band members' instrumentals. I also learned essential skills that were required by musicians during the pandemic such as the ability to present a professional project by being able to edit simple videos, film, record and mime to music.
Lockdown Video
I have included my Lockdown video from last year, as it shows the social, communication, teamwork and collaborative skills I have used in order to help create these videos. It shows my ability to adapt/react well to change in this case I learned to adapt to the challenging circumstances that Covid introduced by learning to co produce music with my band online. This Session Skills video also shows my fast ability to learn new skills such as filming and video editing, (using software such as iMovie, PremierPro) which I completed for the videos.

Throughout LPS I have performed a range of pieces and will do so in future for a gig at Bannerman's, as I have effectively invested my time in practicing by myself and with others in a band setting. I have also used lecturer feedback in order to improve my audience interaction and communication between band mates in order to perform to the best of my ability and create effective tone and atmosphere in upcoming concerts.

I also mentioned earlier that I faced multiple challenges due to Covid in my studies last year and I stated how I overcame these obstacles. My perseverance is important for adapting to any challenges that I may face when creating the EP and to make sure that I can turn any negatives into positives in order to improve my work.
